Recently we have acquired the most incredible Circa 2000 Vintage Tiffany & Co. 1837 collection in solid 18ct Yellow Gold.  This collection came from one owner and comprises the following items all in solid 18ct Yellow Gold.

This beautiful ring contains a 1.41ct Purple Sapphire cut into Tiffany & Co's patented Legacy cut.  This is a unique cut to Tiffany & Co. with slow soft flashes.  Perfect for a coloured gem.  In addition to the 1.41 carat Sapphire there is an additional 0.41tcw of Round Brilliant Diamonds that are bead set into a bezel set halo. These continue onto the shank of the band.

What was really spectacular about the item, aside from the brilliance and beauty was how large the diamond faced up.  The centre diamond was 0.71ct, yet due to the shape of the diamond, with the weight being balanced to once end, face up this ring looked larger than a 1.20ct round brilliant diamond.
