Absolutely beautiful and rare to find Vintage Cartier Meli Melo Multi Gem and Diamond Drop Earrings in Platinum. This highly collectible piece is part of the Cartier Meli Melo collection with pieces only rarely being sold in places such as Christies. These earrings are pure luxury. The earrings contain 4 round brilliant diamonds of a total carat weight of approximately 0.20ct and a mix of moonstone, chalcedony, iolite, aquamarine, garnet and pink tourmaline in varying cuts.

The clasp is an omega backed earring closure and extremely secure. The setting is platinum and the earrings measure 43mm down and 7mm across. They weigh 15.81gms.

The earrings are hallmarked Cartier, PT950, and stamped with the makers mark and another sign. They are also serialised with the item number 987*** asterixed out for security.

These earrings have been lovingly stored for nearly 15 years and are in excellent condition. The original Cartier Box due to age is disintegrating on the inside but outside the box is in very good condition.

When these earrings were purchased in 2004 they were $9800 AUD. The current estimated replacement value is $16500 with a pair recently selling on eBay for $8400 AUD.
